Here’s a great way to get more traffic to your site and earn more commissions from affiliate programs: write product reviews and comparisons. Sure, it’s more work than just posting an affiliate link, but let me give you an idea of the opportunity that’s available to you here: the number one search result on Google for “CaRP review” only has PageRank 3, and the number one result for “compare CaRP rss equalizer” was created nearly 6 months ago, and still has no PageRank at all! How hard do you think it would be to get the number one listing for either of those searches?

A few recommendations:

1) Write honest reviews and comparisons. I’m a big advocate of honesty over trying to cheat people out of a buck. In fact, I recently created a new website, White Hat Crew, focusing on ethical internet marketing.

2) Be up-front about the fact that your links are affiliate links. You bolster your credibility by not trying to hide that. Some people wouldn’t notice, but those who do are much more likely to trust your review if you prove your honesty this way.

3) Link to pages where you use the products you’re recommending. If you recommend it but don’t use it, how credible are you?

If you write reviews of any of our products, or comparisons with competing products, let me know. I’ll be interested in hearing what you have to say, good and bad!
